THE ROAD TO OUR FIRST ENDOWMENT

The Tuition Equity Fund (TEF) will serve as the foundation for Corlears School’s first-ever endowment. Corlears has committed significant resources to become the leading school for young children driven by diversity and equity.

Through the Tuition Equity Fund, we strive to cultivate inclusion and belonging for all community members for generations to come. Your support of the TEF brings to life our vision of a vibrant and connected community like no other in New York City.

Corlears School Announces a Return to Its Early Childhood Roots

Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, Corlears will return to its early childhood foundation, reaffirming the mission on which Corlears was established nearly 60 years ago. The Corlears Early Learning Center will focus exclusively on educating the youngest learners — toddlers, nursery, and PreK students — through an expanded, modern early childhood program designed to meet the needs of today’s families.

With Corlears' new focus, its program offerings will reflect a bold center for early childhood learning that offers both its existing core nursery and preschool program as well as wrap-around experiences that provide full-day and full-year care for all ages, with connections to our community. What's more,  Corlears prides itself on being not just a place for early education — it’s a hub for connection, growth, and community. In this way, the Corlears Early Learning Center will continue to be a space to nurture children and parents alike.

To learn more about Corlears School's Early Childhood Center and available programs, please visit our Program Overview pages. We also encourage you to connect with our Admissions Team by reaching out to admissions@corlearsschool.org.

As part of this transition, the 2025–26 school year will be the final year Corlears offers kindergarten through fifth grade. While Corlears will focus on early childhood moving forward, the impact of our elementary program, and the students who experienced those years here, remains a meaningful part of our history.
