A TRANSFORMATIONAL VISION
The Corlears 50th Anniversary Campaign

In 2018, Corlears celebrated its 50th anniversary. In honor of this significant milestone, Corlears School embarked on a 5-year, $4 million campaign that goes beyond our physical structure; this campaign is focused on our heart. Over the past five years, Corlears has been building a truly innovative and transformational vision that is growing a new model for what a private school made just for young children can be.

Our Stand for Justice, Equity, and Inclusion

Dear Friends,

As an entire organization in solidarity with our students, families, faculty, administration and trustees, Corlears school can't ignore the trauma caused by inequities in our society, of which we are reminded of by the seemingly never ending reports of racism and deadly acts that continue to take the dignity and life of those threatened and murdered for their identity.

These overtly racist acts violate our Core Values at Corlears School. In the face of these outrageous acts of racism, we must respond responsibly with compassionate courage, and acknowledge and denounce the uptick of bias, discrimination, and hatred in our country. We must do this work with the understanding that this is a crisis of humanity, and therefore, it calls on all humans to act.

Holding on to hope for an equitable and just society, we must harness our outrage to challenge the daily acts of racism contributing to the tremendous toll of trauma four centuries of racism have had on the people of color in our country. The opportunity to bring light to this and fight for social justice during this uncertain time is crucial, and Corlears will access its power to impact both families and educators. We call on all those we know and reach to take action, especially the parents and guardians shaping the future of our country, and to join this fight. Use the resources below to get started.

In solidarity,
Corlears School
