Colleen is the Early Childhood Division Director at Corlears School. Also an adjunct professor at CUNY Brooklyn College, Colleen holds two master's and a doctoral degree in Early Childhood Studies and Human/Child Development. Colleen is deeply involved with the professional early childhood community, having co-authored
New York State's Early Learning Guidelines; she also co-hosts the yearly
Art of Play and Wonderment conference at Corlears in partnership with Brooklyn College.
